On September 13, Belarus Time, Weichai Group and Belarus Maz Group formally established Weichai Maz Joint Venture, and held the groundbreaking ceremony on the same day. The joint venture company is the 20thenterprise to settle in the China-Belarus Industrial Park.
Weichai Power, a subsidiary of Weichai Group, owns 70% of the shares in the joint venture company and the Maz group has 30% of the shares. The joint venture company covers an area of approximately 33,000 square meters and has a designed annual production capacity of 20,000 units. The engines assembled in the joint venture company will meet the Euro VI emission standards, and the products will be sold to Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and other countries.
